On February 3, South Korea Sungdo Valve Co Ltd, along with Shenyang Sungdo Energy Equipment Engineering Co Ltd and Lapingguo Network Technology (Dalian) Co Ltd, visited the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. Representatives from all parties held a meeting on the implementation of the valve assembly production project, the collaboration of industrial chains, and the cooperation of overseas warehouse resources. The meeting was chaired by Guo Li, director of the Government Service Center of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone.
At the meeting, Guo Li extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Sungdo Chairman Ryu Jeong-yeol and Overseas Market Director Ryu Sung-min introduced the advantages that the company has accumulated over many years in valve R&D, manufacturing, and global sales. Ryu Jeong-yeol expressed hope that this visit would facilitate the implementation of the assembly production project in the demonstration zone and expand the market in northern China. Li Le, chairman of Shenyang Sungdo, said that the company would actively integrate local resources to assist in the rapid implementation of the project. Jin Yongjian, chairman of Lapingguo, said that the company would leverage its overseas warehouse resources and cross-border trade experience to provide relevant supporting services for the demonstration zone.
Guo Li pointed out that the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, as a key platform for cooperation with South Korea, has always been committed to providing high-quality business environment and efficient government services for South Korean-funded enterprises. The demonstration zone will fully support the establishment of the Sungdo Valve project and offer guarantees in areas such as factory construction, labor force and industrial chain connection, thereby promoting the development of a high-end manufacturing cluster. Meanwhile, the demonstration zone welcomes the involvement of Lapingguo in the local cross-border logistics system by leveraging its Incheon overseas warehouse resources, jointly facilitating the smooth flow of China-South Korean trade channels.
Zhang Zhao, deputy director of the Economic Cooperation Bureau of Changchun City, said in his speech that Changchun places great emphasis on the introduction and support of foreign-funded projects and will actively facilitate the implementation and development of the Sungdo project. He expressed hope that Shenyang Sungdao would integrate into Changchun's high-end equipment manufacturing industry chain for collaborative development, and welcomed Lapingguo to collaborate with the China-ROK Demonstration Zone in cross-border trade to help more enterprises expand into the Northeast Asia market.
The delegation also visited Changchun Tianmingsheng Technology Co Ltd, Dongchi New Energy Technology Co Ltd, and the industrial innovation base factory, gaining a detailed understanding of the industrial environment, supporting facilities, and factory conditions in the demonstration zone.
Officials from the 2nd Foreign Investment Division of the Changchun Economic Cooperation Bureau, as well as the Bureau of Commerce and the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, attended the event.
