On February 2, KM Holdings, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Korea-China City Friendship Association Zhejiang Representative Office, and Wuxi Dequan E-Commerce Co Ltd visited the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. The representatives from all parties held a meeting on establishing a cross-border trade service platform for China and South Korea, facilitating the smooth operation of cross-border trade between the two countries, and building a development framework for coordinated efforts in import and export. The meeting was chaired by Guo Li, director of the Government Service Center of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone.

At the meeting, Guo Li extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Lee Young-seon and Lee Chon-so provided detailed introductions on various aspects such as channel development, platform establishment, and operation models of their respective companies. Lee Young-seon expressed the hope of establishing a regular coordination mechanism with the China-ROK Demonstration Zone to explore diverse cooperation opportunities. Leveraging the demonstration zone as an international cooperation platform, he aims to help high-quality enterprises in Jilin province deeply penetrate the South Korean market. Lee Chon-so said that KM Holdings would fully integrate its resources and expertise in the comprehensive cross-border e-commerce service sector to provide SMEs from both China and South Korea with full-process services including platform operations, logistics customs clearance, channel expansion, export certification, and brand promotion. This initiative seeks to break down information barriers and resource bottlenecks in China-South Korea cross-border trade, injecting new vitality into regional economic growth.
Li Guangwen, deputy general manager of Zhongfa Company, said that the company will fully leverage its resource advantages of state-owned enterprises to serve the high-quality development of China-South Korea trade. Relying on core carriers such as the China-ROK City Pavilion and cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, the company will actively introduce emerging business formats including cross-border e-commerce, as well as culture and entertainment exhibitions. Meanwhile, the company will address the pain points of South Korean-funded enterprises by tailoring comprehensive financial solutions and implementing specialized policy support, providing all-round assistance to help South Korean-funded enterprises achieve stable growth in the demonstration zone.
Guo Li pointed out that the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, as a key open platform for deepening cooperation between China and South Korea, has received high-level attention from the national, provincial, and municipal governments. The demonstration zone will focus on cultivating emerging industries and elevating the level and quality of trade and cooperation with South Korea. Guo said that hopefully, all parties will take this visit as an opportunity to deepen interactive exchanges, advance practical collaboration, and jointly build the China-ROK Enterprise Export Comprehensive Service Port. This initiative aims to establish a cross-border trade service platform between China and South Korea, foster diversified business formats, and attract more enterprises engaged in South Korea trade to cluster in the demonstration zone.
The delegation also visited the China-ROK City Pavilion, the Abrils Hotel, the Cold Chain Logistics Industrial Park, the Industrial Innovation Base, Jilin Dongchi New Energy Technology Co Ltd, and Changchun Green Drive Hydrogen Technology Co Ltd.
Officials from the Bureau of Commerce, the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and Zhongfa Company of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone participated in the event.
