To expand investment channels and deepen industrial cooperation, Zhou Zheng, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and director of its Management Committee, led a team to carry out investment promotion activities in Shenzhen and Guangzhou from January 22 to 24. The team conducted in-depth connections with high-quality enterprises in cutting-edge fields such as ice-snow economy, greater health, financial services and new materials through on-site visits and discussions. This event received strong support from the Shenzhen Office of the People's Government of Jilin Province.
At Shenzhen Keleng Commercial Equipment Co Ltd, the team visited the air-supported ice-snow venue project. The two sides discussed ice-snow resource sharing, operation modes and cooperation directions, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. With the focus on the application of refrigeration technology and the manufacturing of intelligent equipment, the company covers four major sectors including intelligent equipment manufacturing, cold-chain logistics system integration, ice-snow project construction, and equipment operation and maintenance. It has mature and comprehensive investment and operation experience.
At Shenzhen BGI Group, the two sides held discussions on the application of genetic screening and testing projects, as well as the establishment of high-standard laboratories, with a preliminary consensus reached. Both parties will leverage the location and policy advantages of the demonstration zone to promote project implementation, gather high-quality resources, improve people's wellbeing through gene technology, and boost the high-quality development of the regional economy. As a leading company in the domestic gene technology sector, the group has diversified its business into such areas as gene sequencing and intelligent manufacturing of sequencing machines, with independent research and development capabilities. It has established a network for precise medical testing and a closed-loop ecosystem for the integration of enterprises, universities, research institutes and end-users.
At Shenzhen Citi Financing Guarantee Group Co Ltd, the two parties discussed cooperation matters, provided financing guarantee services based on core enterprise transactions for small and medium-sized firms in the demonstration zone, and improved the regional financial service system. The group mainly engages in financing guarantee business and focuses on the digital credit sector. It has rich experience and mature teams in supply chain finance, as well as micro and small-sized enterprises and consumption credit.
At Guangzhou Baoshen Technology Application Co Ltd, the team observed the technology of digital chip anti-counterfeit labels. The company has been deeply engaged in the application of RFID technology, and the research and development, manufacturing and sales of digital packaging materials and anti-counterfeit labels. Both parties held talks on the demonstration application scenarios such as smart department stores and smart warehouses based on RFID technology. It is hoped that the company can apply this technology to Changbai Mountain's characteristic products and help standardize markets for ginseng and deer antler products. Meanwhile, discussions were held with Mudanjiang Jiafeng New Material Technology Co Ltd, regarding the multi-layer co-extrusion new packaging material project, and a letter of intent for project cooperation was signed.
During the trip, the team also visited Shenzhen Huazhuo Sports Culture Development Co Ltd and Shenzhen ICNA Group, and held discussions with the Shenzhen Industrial Park Association. They participated in the Ji Shen Tong Xing • Shang Dao Tong Xing Achievement Conference & the 2026 Changchun Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen. Through the platform of the chamber of commerce, they introduced the investment environment and policy advantages of the demonstration zone, and extensively connected with high-quality enterprise resources.
The team not only deepened mutual trust and understanding with enterprises in Shenzhen and Guangzhou through face-to-face communication and zero-distance docking, but also reached a number of cooperation intentions and expanded the space for industrial development. Next, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone will take this event as an opportunity to closely monitor the implementation and effectiveness of cooperation projects, continuously optimize the business environment, strengthen factor guarantees, attract more high-quality enterprises to settle in with a more open attitude and practical measures, and work together to paint a new chapter of high-quality development.
