The cooperation framework agreement signed by the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, Eye Valley and Changchun Medical College has officially come into effect, marking the full launch of the tripartite cooperation and its entry into a substantive promotion stage. It is a crucial step for the demonstration zone to introduce high-end resources and build an industrial ecosystem in the field of optometry.

The entry into force of this agreement is a successful practice of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone to precisely introduce high-quality domestic industrial resources. According to the agreement, the three parties will fully leverage their respective advantages to jointly build a new development pattern integrating industry, academia, research and application.

Jointly build an industrial innovation platform. Relying on the policy, location and international platform advantages of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, the cutting-edge technology and industrial agglomeration capabilities of Eye Valley, as well as the professional talent resources of Changchun Medical College, the three parties will make joint efforts to empower the development of eye health firms and the innovation, entrepreneurship, learning and growth of eye health talents in the two parks, and to promote the agglomeration, upgrading and innovative integration of industrial elements in the eye health industry.

Jointly promote the integration and innovation of industry and academia. The three parties will join forces to promote the integrated development of industry and education, the sharing of sci-tech innovation resources, and the transformation of sci-tech achievements. They will accelerate the gathering of sci-tech innovation elements such as universities, research institutes, new-type R&D institutions, innovation and entrepreneurship communities, leading businesses, technology transformation and venture capital towards enterprises in the park. They will leverage their comparative advantages to jointly contribute to the high-quality development of eye health.  

Jointly cultivate international professional talents. Create the School—Local government—Business education model. By establishing internship and training bases, carrying out order-based training and promoting exchanges between Chinese and South Korean teachers and students, high-skilled talents will be cultivated and delivered in a targeted manner for the demonstration zone and the wider health industry.

Jointly boost industrial cooperation between China and South Korea. They will utilize the international window effect of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, link the industrial resources of Eye Valley with South Korea's advanced technologies in the fields of biomedicine, high-end medical equipment and medical beauty, and actively promote project cooperation and technology transfer between China and South Korea in eye health and other related areas. 

This collaboration with Eye Valley—a leader in the domestic eye health industry, and Changchun Medical College— a local high-quality medical education force, is an important milestone for the China-ROK Demonstration Zone in optimizing its industrial layout and deepening international cooperation.

Next, the demonstration zone will fully leverage its platform advantages, build an international, law-based and convenient business environment with all-out efforts, offer precise policy support and efficient services, and create favorable conditions for trilateral cooperation, and strive to become an important hub connecting high-quality life and health resources in South Korea and even the world.
