From July 9 to 14, main leaders of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone led a team to carry out a 6-day investment promotion activity in Shanghai and Tianjin. During the period, the team visited Shanghai Linde Group, Aptiv Shanghai Headquarters, Compak Shanghai Headquarters, Mitsubishi Corporation (Shanghai) Ltd, Cheerland Shanghai Company, Shanghai Vastity Electronics, Shanghai Hyfun Energy, My Tsinghua Capital, Tianjin Weite Group, Tianjin Kimwan Group and other enterprises and institutions to discuss a number of high-quality projects, to promote a batch of key projects and to inspect several projects under construction, making every effort to deliver solid outcomes in the investment promotion work.

First, develop key areas, and strengthen targeted attraction of projects

Focusing on hydrogen energy, the investment promotion team visited Linde Group, Hyfun Energy, Kimwan Group and My Tsinghua Capital to conduct in-depth communication and exchanges on the construction of hydrogen refueling stations, the manufacture of storage and transmission equipment, the hydrogen production from water electrolysis, and the establishment of the hydrogen energy industry fund. Taking the launch of demonstration projects as the starting point, the team will step up financial support, strengthen storage and transmission links of the hydrogen energy industry in the demonstration zone, and further improve the layout of the entire hydrogen energy industry chain.

Focusing on medical beauty, the team actively connected with ANCORS to discuss the development of the medical beauty industry and the exploration of the international market. The demonstration zone will provide policy, finance, talent and other factors for ANCORS, and promote the company to further play its complete-industrial-chain advantages in the field of medical beauty, so as to achieve win-win cooperation and to speed up the building of the "Northeast Asia Beauty Valley".

Focusing on optoelectronic information, the team had communication and exchanges with Vastity Electronics and Solid Power on the R&D and production of chips. The optoelectronic information industrial park in the demonstration zone is a professional industrial park that can advance cooperation in such fields as chips, new compound semiconductors and power semiconductor devices, according to main leaders of the demonstration zone. The industrial park is not only a platform for start-up small and medium-sized businesses, but also a cluster of the optoelectronic industry. The demonstration zone hopes for the introduction of the internationalized technical teams and client resources of Vastity Electronics and Solid Power to help the development of its optoelectronic information industry cluster.

Focusing on modern services, the team visited Mitsubishi Corporation, Cenval Technology and Accumulus. In Mitsubishi Corporation, the two sides conducted in-depth communication and discussion on the introduction of Lawson convenience stores and the import and export of core parts of hydrogen energy equipment. The demonstration zone said that hopefully, Mitsubishi can share its globalized resources, leverage its brand effect, support the demonstration zone in upgrading consumption and trade fields, and boost high-quality and rapid economic development. 

Second, focus on main goals, and strengthen continuous progress of projects

On the basis of discussing new projects, the team has been pushing for substantial progress in key projects including the Cheerland Northeast Asia Technology Center, the Florentia Village and the V1 Auto World. In Cheerland Shanghai Company, the demonstration zone mobilized various parties such as Jilin Province Equity Jilin Investment Co, Changchun City Equity Fund Management Co and CICC Capital, and had in-depth communication and exchanges with Cheerland on project cooperation models and investment ratios. In Tianjin Weite Group, both sides discussed the site selection and implementation of Florentia Village and V1 Auto World projects. The vice president of Weite Group will visit the demonstration zone in the near future to further promote project progress.  

Third, cultivate service concepts, and strengthen the implementation of projects

During the stay in Shanghai, the team also visited Aptiv, Compak and Huadao Biotechnology to learn about their project construction, production, operation and market development, and to carefully listen to their opinions and suggestions on optimizing the business environment and serving enterprise development. The demonstration zone said that it will help enterprises find and solve problems by following the service concept of "putting itself in somebody's position", further stimulate the vitality of enterprise development, boost confidence in enterprise development, and promote healthy and sustainable development of enterprises.

The Bureau of Commerce, the 1st Bureau of Economic Cooperation, the 2nd Bureau of Economic Cooperation, the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Bureau of Science, Industry and Information Technology, as well as Changxing Group participated in the activity.
