Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co visits Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone

On February 23, Liu Peng, deputy general manager of Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co, visited the Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone. The two sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the production of new energy vehicles, the R&D and application of hydrogen fuel cells and the construction of hydrogen refueling stations.

During the meeting, Zhang Zhongcheng, deputy director of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone (Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone) Management Committee, introduced the basic situation, industrial structure and policy support of the demonstration zone in detail.

Afterwards, Xu Yong, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone (Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone), introduced the international cooperation advantages of the demonstration zone and relevant taxation, trade and finance policies that the demonstration zone is actively striving for. Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co is a leading technology company and an important partner of the demonstration zone, Xu said, adding that hopefully, the company will seize the opportunities brought by the development of the hydrogen energy industry, promote deeper cooperation with the demonstration zone, and support the construction of the "Northern Hydrogen Valley" and the development of the hydrogen energy industry in the demonstration zone.

Liu Peng said that the company will seize the strategic and policy opportunities presented by hydrogen energy development in the demonstration zone, give full play to its advantages in industry, technology and channels, actively promote cooperation, and contribute to the development of the hydrogen energy industry in the demonstration zone.

The delegation also visited the Optoelectronic Information Industry Park, the "renewable energy + PEM hydrogen production + hydrogen refueling" integrated hydrogen refueling station and the new energy vehicle plot.

The Bureau of Commerce and the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone participated in the event.
