On September 15, Discount Bull Founder and Chairman Ma Xintong, along with a delegation of executives from partner companies, visited the demonstration zone and held a meeting. Zhang Hao, director of the Operations Department of the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Commerce, accompanied the event.
At the meeting, Tang Dapeng, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and director of its Management Committee, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Discount Bull, and introduced the strategic positioning, policy advantages, industrial foundation and future development plans of the demonstration zone. Tang pointed out that the demonstration zone, as a national-level cooperation platform, is actively building industrial clusters in cross-border trade and modern services. He said that this visit has built a high-quality cooperation bridge for both sides, and he looks forward to exploring deep cooperation with Discount Bull and its partner companies in multiple fields to achieve resource sharing and mutual benefit.
Ma Xintong gave a detailed introduction to the development history, business layout and core advantages of Discount Bull. Since its establishment in 2019, Discount Bull has set up 75 stores in Henan province, and plans to exceed 1,000 stores in the next three years. In addition, the company has established a mature model in the cross-border retail sector. Its drugstore project, located in the Zhengzhou Zhongdamen Logistics Bonded Zone, adopts the "1210" customs supervision model and provides efficient cross-border consumption services through "online ordering, offline self-pickup".
Next, both sides will leverage the unique location and policy advantages of the demonstration zone for cooperation with South Korea, deeply integrate the full industry chain resources of Discount Bull in retail operations and cross-border trade, fully integrate the industry chain resources of Discount Bull in retail and cross-border operations, and carry out practical cooperation on the construction of cross-border e-commerce ecosystems, the collaborative optimization of logistics systems and the efficient activation of existing assets. The demonstration zone will fully activate international cooperation and hardware support efficiency to assist Discount Bull in further expanding its market layout in Northeast China and enhancing its regional brand influence. Through complementary resources and overlapping advantages, the two sides will achieve a favorable pattern of coordinated development and mutual benefit.
The delegation visited GD Biotech and Lanpu Biological Technology in the demonstration zone, as well as the China-ROK City Pavilion, the Cold Chain Logistics Industry Park, and the Cross-border E-commerce Industry Park.
Sun Cheng, deputy director of the Management Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, and officials from the Bureau of Commerce and Zhongfa Group participated in the event.
