On September 9, a delegation of 14 people led by Lee Kyu-yeop, president of the South Korea Innovation Finance Association, visited the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. 

At the meeting, Liu Naijun, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and had in-depth exchanges with representatives from the South Korean side. Liu Naijun said that the China-ROK Demonstration Zone has always been committed to building an international business environment, allowing South Korean-funded enterprises to experience the service sincerity and professional level of the demonstration zone in both business and living facilities, thereby establishing a solid foundation of trust. Liu said that hopefully, the visit will serve as an opportunity, with the demonstration zone as a bond, to enhance interaction and exchanges between the two sides, carry out close cooperation, and promote more high-quality projects to be implemented in the demonstration zone. Meanwhile, the demonstration zone will continue to create favorable conditions for enterprise development, provide full-process and all-round services for South Korean-funded enterprises, and help them flourish in the demonstration zone.

The meeting focused on deepening cooperation between China and South Korea in such industries as medical devices, low-altitude economy and fund finance. Lee Kyu-yeop and representatives from the South Korean side gave detailed introductions on platform establishment, product promotion, technology advantages and future planning. Lee said that Jilin province has a huge market and is currently an ideal partner for many Korean companies. He hoped to achieve deep cooperation with the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. 

The delegation also visited the cold chain logistics industry park, the medical equipment industry park, the unmanned aerial vehicle industry park and Jilin Dongchi New Energy Technology to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industrial development and investment environment of the demonstration zone. The visit further deepened the understanding of the South Korea Innovation Finance Association towards the demonstration zone, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides in more fields. 

The China-ROK Demonstration Zone will continue to leverage its platform advantages to promote China-South Korea trade and economic cooperation to a deeper level and a wider range.

Officials from the Bureau of Development and Reform, the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Health Industry, Zhongke Company, and Zhongfa Ruiheng Operation Service Company attended the meeting.
