On August 22, Na Moon-kyu, president of the Daejeon Entrepreneurs Association of South Korea, led a delegation of 45 people to visit the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening the investment of South Korean entrepreneurs in China and promoting investment attraction.
Yang Zhen, director of the Management Office of the Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone, extended a warm welcome to Na Moon-kyu and his delegation, and thanked the Daejeon Entrepreneurs Association for its long-term concern and strong support for the China-ROK Demonstration Zone.
Na Moon-kyu introduced the comparative advantages and successful experiences of members of the Daejeon Entrepreneurs Association in industrial investment and technology development. Na highly praised the future development potential of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, and noted that there is huge space for cooperation with the association in a wide range of areas. He expressed his willingness to contribute to the high-quality economic development of the demonstration zone.
The China-ROK Demonstration Zone is making every effort to build itself into an international platform of openness and cooperation, Yang Zhen said, adding that hopefully, the Daejeon Entrepreneurs Association will fully leverage its technological advantages, carry out close cooperation with the demonstration zone in high-end equipment manufacturing, health and optoelectronic information, and expand the sales market. It is hoped that the association will also fully leverage its channel advantages, introduce the development achievements and opportunities of the demonstration zone to the South Korean people, showcase the excellent business environment and open cooperation attitude of the demonstration zone, attract more high-quality South Korean-funded enterprises to set offices in the demonstration zone, and promote mutual benefit and common development, Yang added.
Officials from the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Zhongfa Company, the Bureau of Commerce, the Health Industry Office, the Optoelectronic Information and Digital Industry Office, the Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry Office, and Zhongke Company attended the meeting.
