On July 18, Gabriel Herbert, CEO of PVT Plasma & Vakuum Technik GmbH, and his team visited the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. They visited the Optoelectronic Information Industry Park, Jilin Electric Power's hydrogen production and refueling station, SPIC's green PEM hydrogen production equipment project, and Hynovation's fuel cell project to gain a detailed understanding of the hydrogen energy industry layout of the demonstration zone.
Liu Naijun, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, held a meeting with Gabriel Herbert. Liu Naijun extended a warm welcome to Gabriel Herbert and his team, and introduced the demonstration zone from the aspects of international cooperation, industrial characteristics, business environment, and hydrogen energy industry linkage. Liu said that as a leading enterprise in bipolar plate coating technology, PVT is highly compatible with the development of the hydrogen energy industry in the demonstration zone. Liu expressed his hope that the project will be implemented in the demonstration zone through the "German technology + Chinese scenario" model, which can not only fill the domestic gap in the technology of bipolar plate precious metal coatings, but also help local hydrogen energy enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency, accelerating the building of a complete industrial chain from hydrogen production to application in the demonstration zone.
Gabriel Herbert expressed great optimism about the development prospects of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. He said that the demonstration zone has complete basic supporting facilities, a clear industrial chain and strong innovation capabilities, and he is particularly confident in the development of the hydrogen energy industry. In the next step, he will fully leverage PVT's advantages in technology, resources and market, and work together with the demonstration zone to promote the implementation of the project.
Officials from the Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry Office and Zhongke Company of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone participated in the event.
