On July 11, a delegation of senior executives from Chengdu Rongchuang New Energy Power System Co Ltd visited the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, accompanied by officials from the Jilin Provincial Department of Commerce. The delegation conducted on-site visits to Changchun Green Drive Hydrogen Technology Co Ltd and the "Renewable Energy + PEM Hydrogen Production + Hydrogen Refueling" Integrated Innovation Demonstration Base, gaining an in-depth understanding of the progress in hydrogen energy technology research and development, as well as industrial application achievements. They also held a meeting on deepening cooperation in hydrogen-powered rail transit and forming an industry cluster of new energy equipment manufacturing. This event has injected new impetus into the development of the entire hydrogen energy industry chain in Jilin province.
At Changchun Green Drive Hydrogen Technology Co Ltd, Rongchuang New Energy learned about the company's self-developed national first megawatt-level PEM hydrogen production equipment. The equipment has successfully solved the problem of hydrogen production from fluctuating wind and solar power generation, providing core technological support for large-scale green hydrogen production.
At the integrated innovation demonstration base, Rongchuang New Energy observed the intelligent dispatching system of hydrogen refueling stations and the operation data of hydrogen-powered buses. There was a meeting held to discuss such key issues as the cost control of green hydrogen and the path for large-scale supply. As the only "mother" station for green hydrogen supply in Jilin province, the base has achieved zero-carbon operation throughout the entire chain of production, storage, refueling and use, setting a benchmark for the development of hydrogen energy transportation in the province.
After the visit, the two sides held a meeting at the industrial innovation base. As the core development area for Jilin province's hydrogen energy industry, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone is striving to build a full-ecology industrial chain covering technology research and development, equipment manufacturing, and scenario application. At the meeting, the demonstration zone expressed welcome for Rongchuang New Energy's participation in its development. In-depth discussions were held on the following cooperation directions. First, expand application scenarios and services. Both sides will take hydrogen-powered trams as a starting point to provide the demonstration zone with an integrated solution of "fuel cell cogeneration + green hydrogen production", and to build a distributed energy network. Second, build an equipment manufacturing cluster. Rongchuang New Energy will leverage its technical advantages in high-power fuel cell power systems to synergize with the demonstration zone's PEM hydrogen production technology, jointly advancing the development of a hydrogen equipment manufacturing industrial cluster.
This in-depth connection with Rongchuang New Energy marks an important step for the China-ROK Demonstration Zone in implementing the strategic path of leading the full-chain development of hydrogen energy through equipment manufacturing. In the future, the two sides will take hydrogen-powered rail transit demonstration as the starting point, strengthen technical synergy and scenario innovation, and provide a solid technological support for the province's in-depth implementation of the "Hydrogen Drive Jilin" strategy.
