On March 25, a business delegation led by Choi Kwang Lim, the president of the Seoul E-Commerce Association, Choi Yong Seok, the legal representative of GNG China, and Xia Yan, the president of the Jilin Province New E-Commerce Industry Association, visited the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and held a meeting on deepening cross-border e-commerce industry cooperation between China and South Korea. Liu Naijun, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Guo Li, director of the Government Service Center of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, presided over the meeting.  

At the meeting, Choi Kwang Lim, Choi Yong Seok, and Xia Yan gave detailed introductions on the channel development, platform establishment, operation mode, and product promotion of their respective association and company. Choi Kwang Lim expressed his delight in learning about the abundance of high-quality specialty products in Jilin province. He voiced a desire to establish a regular communication mechanism with the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and the Jilin Province New E-Commerce Industry Association for cooperation. He also hoped to introduce Jilin's high-quality products into the South Korean market through the Seoul E-Commerce Expo and other platforms.

Liu Naijun stressed in his speech that China's cross-border e-commerce and new e-commerce sectors are developing rapidly, creating favorable conditions for Chinese goods to reach global consumers. As an important open platform for deepening cooperation between China and South Korea, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone has achieved a significant increase in exchanges with South Korea, and has continuously explored deeper cooperation in the cross-border e-commerce sector, Liu said, adding that hopefully, all parties will take this visit as an opportunity to strengthen interactions and cooperation through the demonstration zone, to promote more high-quality projects to be implemented in the demonstration zone, and to introduce Jilin's high-quality products into the South Korean market. He also said that the demonstration zone will create favorable conditions for business development, and will provide full-process and all-round services for local South Korean-funded enterprises.

The business delegation also visited the Cross-Border E-Commerce Building B and the China-ROK City Pavilion in the China-ROK Demonstration Zone.

Officials from the Bureau of Commerce of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, Kejin Investment Company of the  China-ROK Demonstration Zone, and Jilin Province Changhan Times Exhibition Operation Company participated in the event.
