From May 27 to May 30, Tang Dapeng, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone and director of its Management Committee, led a team to Weihai, Jiaozhou and Chengdu for study tours and investment promotion activities. The purpose of this event is to learn from advanced experiences, to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the demonstration zone and other regions, to enhance the effectiveness of investment attraction, to precisely and pragmatically promote high-quality cooperation projects, and to lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the demonstration zone.
In Weihai, the team visited the Weihai Bonded Zone, the International Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Park of the Weihai Comprehensive Bonded Zone, as well as the Yunzhou Supply Chain, Coupang and other warehouses of the comprehensive bonded zone. In the Weihai Bonded Zone, the team members gained an in-depth understanding of advanced experiences and innovative measures in customs supervision and trade facilitation. By visiting the warehouses, they acquired an understanding of the intelligent warehouse management system and the efficient logistics distribution system. At the International Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Park, they learned about its industrial layout, innovative development models of operating enterprises, and supporting service facilities.
In Jiaozhou, the team visited the Qingdao SCODA Pearl International Expo Center, national pavilions, the SCO Economic and Trade Comprehensive Service Platform, and the "Silk Road E-commerce" Comprehensive Service Base. At the SCODA Pearl International Expo Center, they learned about its construction path, operational model and key areas of focus. The center has provided beneficial experience for promoting international economic and trade exchanges and fostering the integration of culture and economy. The SCO Economic and Trade Comprehensive Service Platform has integrated various resources to provide one-stop trade service solutions for enterprises, significantly improving trade efficiency. The successful experiences of the "Silk Road E-commerce" Comprehensive Service Base in e-commerce platform establishment and cross-border e-commerce operations has provided new ideas for the development of related industries in the China-ROK Demonstration Zone.
During the study tour, the team held in-depth discussions with the Weihai Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the SCO Demonstration Zone on such topics as industrial park planning and construction, industrial development policies, investment attraction strategies, institutional and mechanistic innovations, as well as business environment optimization. They reached a consensus to establish a long-term liaison mechanism for further exchanges and cooperation, to share resources, to complement each other with their own strengths, and to jointly promote high-quality regional economic development.
In China National Chemical Southwest Engineering Technology in Chengdu, the team visited its headquarters and aerogel materials exhibition hall to learn about the R&D process, production cycle, sales price, and application area of phase change materials. The two sides had discussions on cooperation opportunities in eco-friendly construction materials, solid-state batteries, and automotive thermal insulation. To explore cooperation in the construction, operation, data security and industrial collaboration of the smart computing center, the team held a meeting with China National Chemical Southwest Engineering Technology, China Unicom Changchun Branch, and the Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone. During the meeting, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and China Unicom Changchun Branch respectively signed strategic cooperation agreements with China National Chemical Southwest Engineering Technology.
In the Ya'an Big Data Industrial Park, the team, together with China Unicom Changchun Branch, visited the Yayunzhixin Digital Technology Exchange Center, the Chuanxi Big Data Center, and the IDC Data Center. The team gained an in-depth understanding of the park's computing power scale, operational model, green low-carbon technology applications, and data security capabilities. Drawing on the park's successful experiences, the team discussed the smart computing center project in line with the actual conditions of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and Changchun.
Based on its actual development, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone will integrate cutting-edge concepts, innovative models and regional resources, and will comprehensively enhance investment attraction efforts, injecting strong momentum into regional economic growth.
Yang Zhen, director of the Management Office of the Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone, and officials from the Bureau of Commerce, Zhongfa Company and Zhongke Company, participated in the relevant activities.
