From November 5 to 8, Liu Naijun, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, led a team to Shanghai and Wuxi to carry out investment promotion activities, empowering the development of the demonstration zone.

In Shanghai, the team visited the COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design & Research Institute, the Caohejing Hi-tech Park and the Changyang Campus in Yangpu district to learn from advanced development experience, to explore directions and paths that are in line with the high-quality development of the demonstration zone, and to promote reform and innovation. During the stay in Shanghai, the team also established preliminary cooperation intentions with exhibitors participating in the 7th China International Import Expo, including Overplus Power, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, and time-honored brands in Jilin province.

In Wuxi, Liu Naijun visited the Wuxi Jilin Chamber of Commerce, Jiangsu Mymooo Manufacturing Co Ltd and Wuxi CRRC New Energy Vehicle Co Ltd, and held discussions on the development and application of new materials, new energy and new technologies. The planning and construction of R&D and production bases for non-standard mold and mechanical parts, as well as R&D and production bases for new energy vehicles, will serve as an important force driving the cluster development of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry. 

During the investment promotion activities, the demonstration zone fully demonstrated its resource endowment and development potential, won positive responses, support and recognition through pragmatic exchanges, further strengthened the investment confidence of enterprises, and laid a good foundation for promoting project implementation and industrial development.
