On July 24, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone successfully held a promotion meeting in Daegu, South Korea, aiming to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the field of health. This is the first time that the demonstration zone has led enterprises to carry out economic and trade exchanges in South Korea, exploring new ways of promoting economic development.

During the meeting, Yang Zhen, director of the Management Office of the Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone, said that China-South Korea cooperation has a solid foundation and broad prospects, and expressed confidence and expectation for the two sides to make joint efforts in the development of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone. Chen Ribiao, consul general of the Chinese Consulate General in Busan, Byun Chang-hoon, president of Daegu Haany University, Song Kyung-chang, president of the Economic Revitalization Institute of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Choi Kye-hee, president of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of the South Korea-China Association for Economy, Culture and Education, delivered speeches. Wang Xin, head of the 1st Economic Cooperation Bureau of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, provided a comprehensive promotion of the demonstration zone and introduced relevant policies in detail.

More than 20 South Korean companies participated in the meeting and had in-depth discussions on cooperation and project matchmaking. The China-ROK Demonstration Zone signed framework cooperation agreements with Daegu Haany University and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of the South Korea-China Association for Economy, Culture and Education, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in the field of health. It is worth noting that 4 key enterprises in the demonstration zone, including Jilin Lanpu Technology, Jilin Fran Medical Technology, Changchun Haobang Health Technology and Tanxiaowanglai Health Industry (Jilin), participated in the meeting and reached their initial cooperation intention with Gyeongbuk Science Park, Lumi Korea, HUWONS.inc, AJBIO, and HONEST in South Korea.

The successful holding of this promotion conference is not only a grand event to showcase cooperation opportunities, but also a vivid epitome of the friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea.
