On March 7, Chen Ribiao, Chinese Consul General in Busan, met with Liu Naijun, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone. Counselor Guo Chunshui attended the meeting.

After an introduction of the cooperation between the consular district and China, Chen Ribiao said that the industrial development of the consular district is highly consistent with the industrial planning of the demonstration zone, and the cooperation space between the two sides is broad. Chen welcomed the demonstration zone to carry out practical exchanges and cooperation with cities and provinces in the consular district, so as to push China-ROK economic and trade relations to a new level. The Chinese Consul General in Busan will provide active assistance to this end.

Liu Naijun introduced the industrial advantages of Changchun city, the basic situation of the demonstration zone, and the progress of docking with enterprises in the consular district. He said that the demonstration zone hopes to strengthen communication with the Chinese Consul General in Busan, expand cooperation with enterprises in the consular district in such areas as machinery, auto parts and cosmetic medicine, and consolidate local economic and trade cooperation between China and South Korea.
