To follow the provincial and municipal instructions on the"Year of Project Implementation", Liu Guotao, deputy secretaryof the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone and director of its Management Committee, led a team to Wuxi to carry out an investment promotion activity from January 22 to 24. Through theJilin Chamber of Commerce in Wuxi, the investment promotion teamhad in-depth discussions on cooperation with Digital Eagle, Vifei Technology, Hanshen Electric, Wing Tech and Zhejiang University Alumni Association, aiming to introduce a number of good projects that go along with the development of the demonstration zone, and to inject new vitality into the high-quality development of the demonstration zone.
On the afternoon of January 22, the team had a meeting with Tian Zhongpeng, executive chairman of the Jilin Chamber of Commerce in Wuxi, and Sun Qianlan,secretary-general of the chamberof commerce. They had discussions on project information exchanges, industrial resource integration, and trade development with Russia. Liu Guotao expressed his hope that the chamber of commerce can give full play to its role in Wuxiandempower the high-quality development of the demonstration zone. Tian Zhongpeng said that the chamber of commerce will contribute to the economic development of the demonstration zone, actively seek advantageous resources from all parties, and facilitate project cooperation.
On the morning of the 23rd, the team visited the exhibition hall of Vifei Technology, experienced the fighter jet flight simulator and the civil aircraft flight simulator, and had discussions with General Manager Hu Jinhai. Vifei Technology's products areconsistent with the industrial development of the demonstration zone, Liu Guotao said, adding that hopefully, the company will participate in the economic development of the demonstration zone as soon as possible.Hu said that the company will fully leverage its advantages in flight simulation, virtual reality and aviation science popularization to achieve mutual benefit andwin-win results with the demonstration zone.
On the afternoon of the same day, the team visited Digital Eagleto learn about its police drone, high-rise firefighting drone, vertical takeoff and landing drone, plant protection drone, drone countermeasures, gimbals, pods and other application products, and visited the UAV (Wuxi) Command Center.During the meeting with Chen Lechun, chairman ofDigital Eagle, Liu Guotao expressed his hope that the company will leverage its role as an industry leader and work together with the demonstration zone to explore the Northeast market.Chen said that Digital Eagle attaches great importance to cooperation with the demonstration zone, and in the next step, the company will give full play to its advantages, make good use of the drone industrial park in the demonstration zone, and accelerate industrial layout.
On the morning of January 24, the team visited the product exhibition center and process production workshop of Hanshen Electric. Under the recommendation of He Xiaoyang, chairman of Hanshen Electric and president of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association in Wuxi, the teammet with several association members.Liu Guotao introduced the basic situation,location advantages, industrial characteristicsand development potential of thedemonstration zone in detail, and invited association members tovisit the demonstration zone. Liu said that he is looking forward to in-depth cooperation between the demonstration zone and the Zhejiang University Alumni Association in Wuxi in multiple fields. Entrepreneurs present in the meeting said that they gained a deeper understanding of the demonstration zone, and they will take the meeting as an opportunity to accelerate cooperation with thedemonstration zone.
On the afternoon of the 24th, Liu Guotao had a meeting with Wu Liantai, general manager of Wing Tech. Changchun's optoelectronic information industry, as an important part of the "3+1" industry in the demonstration zone,has a good foundation, sufficient advantages and huge potential, Liu said, adding thatWing Tech has beenengaged in the ODM industry for many years, and there is a foundation for cooperation between the company and the demonstration zone. He expressed his hope that the company will visit the demonstration zone as soon as possible for common development. Wu said that through themeeting, the company gained a preliminary understanding of the demonstration zone, and in the next step, it is to seek opportunities for cooperation and work together with the zone to achieve win-win results.
