On March 28, the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone sent a team to the ROK and Japan to carry out an 8-day "Investment Week" event, so as to discuss projects and deepen exchanges and cooperation.

In December 2022, Jilin province organized a delegation to conduct economic and trade exchanges in the ROK, Japan, Russia and other countries. As an important platform for the province's cooperation with the ROK, the China-ROK Demonstration Zone has sought cooperation with South Korean government agencies and business associations such as Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency and Korea-China Technology & Culture Promotion Association, as well as LG Chem, SK and other well-known South Korean enterprises. This time, the demonstration zone sent a team overseas again, aiming to deepen cooperation with the ROK and Japan, to attract more foreign enterprises to invest in Jilin, and to help Jilin build into a hub for cooperation in Northeast Asia.

At the project matchmaking promotion meeting between the China-ROK Demonstration Zone and the ROK held on March 29, Xu Yong, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, said that to seize opportunities brought by the RCEP, continue to optimize the business environment, and create a more attractive investment destination in Northeast Asia, the demonstration zone has rolled out 26 specific measures to strengthen support, including the "one-service window access" for foreigners' work and residence permits.

It is understood that in the upcoming economic and trade exchanges activities, the demonstration zone will connect with business associations, financial institutions and enterprises in the ROK and Japan, attract more foreign enterprises for investment, and make new breakthroughs in cooperation with the ROK and Japan.
