On February 24, Liu Guotao, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, led a team to Shanghai to carry out an economic and trade inspection activity in the digital economy industry.

On the morning of the same day, the team participated in the 3rd Shanghai Digital Innovation Conference co-hosted by 360 Group and the Shanghai Putuo district government. With the theme of "Digital Intelligence Half Suzhou River, Empowering City Future", the conference promoted the connection and integration of government, enterprise, university and research institute, further made concerted efforts, integrated advantages, and displayed the development achievements of Shanghai's digital transformation, providing excellent reference experience for the China-ROK Demonstration Zone to develop its digital economy industry. Taking advantage of the event, the demonstration zone further communicated with 360 Group to sign a cooperation agreement in Changchun in March, aiming to speed up the development of its digital economy industry.

Afterwards, Liu Guotao led the team to visit Shanghai Lead Junyi Industrial Development Group. With Shanghai as the center, the group has built multiple industrial bases in the Yangtze River Delta region supported by special industrial funds and "5 functional centers + N industry centers" including the digital technology empowerment center, and has implemented more than a dozen sci-tech achievements and high-end manufacturing projects that fill the gap in China. The demonstration zone and the group conducted in-depth discussions on three projects including medium and high voltage IGBT function switches, nano-imprint equipment and materials, and the digital empowerment center, with initial cooperation intentions reached.

Chen Renbo, director of the Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone, Gongga Jiangcai, deputy director of the Bureau of Social Affairs, and Hou Bulin, deputy director of the 3rd Bureau of Economic Cooperation participated in the activity.
